A sterling pin which captures the essence of Danish mid-century modern jewelry design: simple, elegant forms, curved surfaces, bold shapes, and undulating lines. Possibly a Folmere piece (several nearly identical pieces were found online with Folmere mark). However, this piece is not stamped.
Condition:
I have only cleaned this piece with silver polish. The piece could use a machine polishing/ cleaning, to bring back the original high polish silver finish. As is, there is a small tarnish spot on the left petal, near the ball . The bottom wire seems to be bent slightly.
Regardless of the lack of maker's mark and the slight condition issues, if you are looking for a beautful mid-century floral form pin, this one is a prime example.
Maybe wear it with that little black dress...or something comparable?
